He first discovered his musical talent at the age of 10, which flowed deep in his bloodline. C.I.T.Y was influenced by his Great Grandfather Louis Barbarian and Great Uncle Paul Barbarian who were both considered "Founders" in the jazz music movement during the 1940s. C.I.T.Y.'s musical bloodline links him to musical icons such as Darren Brazley, Stanley Clarke and Chris Severin.

The pursuit of happiness is something we all desire, to acquire the drive to initiate the fire of ambition, we seek motivation in places that would never ignite the average mind, finding a unique hunger with in ourselves, a hunger that affects more than your stomach a hunger from your eyes to see the way the sun shines in different skies, a hunger from your ears to hear the different accent and customs of pears, we are the statistics, we are the doubted, we are the ones who minds they've re routed, because of a fear, because of truth, because of the way god planed for this to be.
